With over 19 years of Division I college basketball coaching experience, Coach Scott is the former head coach of the University of Detroit Mercy women's basketball team. Prior to that, he coached at Toledo, Dayton, Arizona, Youngstown State, and Cleveland State. Coach Scott has coached and helped develop 14 All-Conference players. During his second year as a head coach, he took his team to the Horizon League championship game.
Coach Scott was part of a State Championship team in high school when he played at VASJ in Cleveland, Ohio. Nominated as a McDonald's All-American in high school, Scott went on to play at the University of Toledo. Coach Scott enjoys teaching the game of basketball and helping individuals reach their full potential. He has been married for 20 years and has two daughters that also play basketball.
